41 Weeks Pregnant
At 41 weeks pregnant, your baby is the size of a watermelon. They’re not getting much longer, but they may gain a little weight this week.
It’s common to feel even more uncomfortable at 41 weeks. You may be getting impatient. You’d thought you’d meet your baby by now!
This is a common time for a provider to recommend labor induction. Talk it over with your doctor or midwife at your prenatal visit to see if it’s right for you. A nonstress test may help you decide. This test checks on the fetal heart rate as they move. You may also have an ultrasound to take a closer look.
We promise your baby is coming soon. Hang in there!
