30 Weeks Pregnant
At 30 weeks pregnant, your baby is the size of a head of cabbage. Their nervous system is developing and can control some bodily functions.
You have only 10 weeks left until your due date. That’s just a little more than two months!
A common symptom at 30 weeks pregnant is vaginal discharge. Discharge can increase during pregnancy. But call your provider if the discharge is a color like green or yellow, smells bad, if you’re itchy, or you bleed.
As you near your due date, you may get a different type of discharge called the mucus plug. It’s thick and clumpy and often comes tinged with blood. That’s a sign of the body preparing for labor. Call your provider if you notice any signs of labor.
You should keep seeing your provider for prenatal visits every two weeks. Ask them about local parenting classes to help you get ready for life with a newborn.
