31 Weeks Pregnant
At 31 weeks pregnant, your baby is the size of a coconut. Their brain is forming wrinkles, which give them extra space to get smarter.
A common symptom at 31 weeks pregnant is Braxton Hicks contractions. These are often called practice contractions because they tend to be mild and stop. The contractions of labor get stronger and more frequent.
Your feet might be swollen or feel sore. Wearing comfortable shoes with support should help.
Ask if your hospital or birthing center holds tours. Seeing where you’ll give birth may help you feel more comfortable there. You can also ask questions about the facility and what will happen.
