Substance use and pregnancy

There is no safe amount of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs to use when you are pregnant. Your OB’s priority is to make sure both you and your baby are healthy. We encourage you to talk openly with your OB about the substances you are taking. They can work with you to make a safe plan to stop using alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. These substances can harm you and your baby.
